Dial-up ConnectionSubscribe Subscribe

Hi guyz and good morning! Its been a cold morning right now. And I’ve just finished setting up my dial-up internet connection just to check my mails and to post some writings in this blog. :)

Did you know that the maximum connection speed of a dial-up goes only up to 56 Kbps here in my location. A dial-up connection is a type of network connection in which it uses a telephone line to send and receive information coming from different networks with in the WWW. This has been the most used connection before DSL came in place. Its a very slow connection but its suffice, if your just surfing the web for email checking or just searching some topics in search engines like everybody’s best friend, Google.

If you plan to download something else, then it will take you a lot longer than you think depending on the size of your file to be downloaded. But if you are willing to get the file downloaded, you can really still get that, but as I’ve said, it will take you 7x more longer than a DSL connection.

I suggest to take a higher connection speed than the dial-up if you wanted to take all the features that the internet can give you. The better your connection speed the more things you can do in the web or the WWW (World Wide Web)

Have a nice day surfing the spider web! :)

yup! it is a lot slower than DSL, but cheaper as well.
i used to have that kind of connection before, but have not enough patience like you so i convinced my parents to subscribe to a broadband connection.
not only the downloading is slow, but as well as the uploading. and not to mention, that our connection speed before only reached up to 28.8kbps, then it was improved to 40kbps not so long ago, so it would really take time for you to get your tasks done. ^_^
